Rockford Fosgate is now shipping the already famous P3 Shallow Subs. These things are simply fantastic. They work great in the custom boxes for most extended cab pick-ups.

The output from the 10's alone is quite remarkable. Match them up with one of the new Rockford Fosgate Power Amplifiers (these things are tiny also), and you'll have all the sound that you can stand. You can get these new P3 subs in either dual 2 ohm or dual 4 voice coils, so is easy to pick your Punch depending on if you're running a mono or stereo subwoofer amplifier.

You would expect nothing less from the Rockford boys who are a leader in car stereo amplifier and subwoofer technology.

Not to be left out in the cold, Alpine Car Audio is having great success with the new Type "S" Shallow Subwoofers. Like the Rockford P3's, the Alpine subs come in 10's and 12's. Extremely shallow mount (although not quite as shallow as the Rockfords). They also are available in dual 2 or 4 ohm voice coils. Great power handling and fantastic sound quality is what you get from these new Alpine subs. Match them up with a new Alpine PDX or MRP car stereo amplifier and you're ready to rock and roll.

Pioneer and other manufacturers of car stereos are exploring this new category of shallow mount subwoofers.
